Morocco · Drive times

How long the drives take.

The hours every plan of ours is built on.

Morocco is bigger than it looks on a map. The longest single drive we plan is Marrakech to Merzouga, about 9 hours. These are the hours we time every itinerary with.

How we use these.

A drive is part of the day it happens on, not a gap between days. A long one starts early, stops where stopping is worth it, and arrives before dark. With a child under five, no drive in our plans runs longer than a few hours.
