What we collect
When you use the trip planner we collect the answers you give us: who is traveling, your departure city, when you want to go, trip length, pace, interests, budget range, and anything you write in the free text box.
If you ask us to email you an itinerary, we collect your first name and email address, along with the itinerary and price you were shown at that moment.
If you go on to book, we collect the information needed to make reservations in your name. That typically includes full legal names as they appear on passports, dates of birth, passport numbers, phone numbers, dietary or accessibility needs you choose to share, and emergency contact details.
We do not store your card number. Payments are handled by [PAYMENT PROCESSOR], who process card details directly.
Our site collects basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed. [Name your analytics provider here, or state that you use none.]
Why we use it
- To generate your itinerary and price it.
- To email you that itinerary and follow up about it.
- To make and confirm reservations with hotels, riads, drivers, guides and activity operators.
- To support you before and during your trip.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To improve the planner, using aggregated patterns rather than individual records.
Who we share it with
To book your trip we have to pass some of your details to the suppliers providing it: the riads and hotels you are staying in, your drivers, guides, and the operators running your experiences. We share the minimum each one needs.
We also use service providers who process data on our behalf, including [PAYMENT PROCESSOR], [EMAIL PROVIDER] and [HOSTING PROVIDER].
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
International transfer
Your trip happens in Morocco, so booking it means sending your details to suppliers there. Morocco is outside the United States and the European Economic Area, and its data protection regime differs from theirs. By booking with us you accept that this transfer is necessary to deliver your trip.
How long we keep it
Planner answers from people who never booked are kept for [e.g. 24 months] and then deleted. Booking records are kept for [e.g. 7 years] to meet tax and liability requirements.
Marketing email
If you give us your email through the planner, we may write to you about your trip and occasionally about Morocco travel more generally. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the marketing without affecting messages about a trip you have booked.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@gowithamana.com and we will respond within [30 days]. If you are a California resident you have specific rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
Cookies
